Anthony Zoitas

I am a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science seeking to begin a career in software engineering/development. In my own time I strive to develop skills in all areas of software engineering such as design, debugging, unit testing, writing documentation, time management, research, and keeping up with new technologies. The projects that I currently work on seek to replicate a professional environment by incorporating constraints and making use of external frameworks/libraries. When it comes to programming languages, I will typically work with a language I am familiar with such as Java or C++ as to strengthen my proficiency with them. However, I will gladly learn and use any language I am unfamiliar with if required for the work that needs to be done, this is how I got started with python. With goals in mind in the short term I seek to listen, learn, and develop newly gained knowledge, refine my skills in all areas of software development, and produce high quality work. In the long term, to keep it brief, is to become an expert in the field and help and lead those around me. Outside of coding I have previous work experience in both a retail and office setting that has been extremely beneficial for the development of my communication skills, ability to work in a group setting, as well as complete time sensitive tasks independently.
